In Memory of Jack

Coats Rocks To Fame, affectionately known as Jack, was more than a stallion. He had a heart the size of Texas, a grit and tenacity that made him special, and a personality that made him a barn favorite. Whether he was competing, producing the next generation, or simply waiting at the gate for a hugs and scratches,  Jack left his mark on the people who knew and loved him.

In his memory, Double Nickel Ranch is proud to award multiple scholarships each year to students pursuing their futures in veterinary medicine, equine reproduction, the trades, and collegiate rodeo. Our hope is that these scholarships allow Jack’s legacy to continue by supporting young people who share the same qualities we loved most about him — heart, determination, and a willingness to work for what they want.

The Coats Rocks To Fame Memorial Race Silent Auction directly supports these scholarships. Proceeds from donated items and services will go toward the scholarship fund, so every donation and every bid helps us invest in another student’s future. We are incredibly grateful to the businesses, individuals, and horsemen who donate, bid, and help us continue Jack’s legacy.
